A former full-time paramedic, Romana Skotzen built her competitive bodybuilding career while working demanding 12-hour shifts on the frontline. She earned her IFBB Pro status in Figure at the 2Bros British Finals in 2020, performing CPR just three days prior to stepping on stage.
After making her professional debut in 2021, she took a full off-season in 2022 before returning in Women’s Physique in 2023, where she quickly established herself as a top contender. A runner-up finish at the Toronto Pro was followed just two weeks later by a victory at the Empro Pro, earning qualification for the Olympia.
Following feedback that her physique was too dense for Women’s Physique, she transitioned into Women’s Bodybuilding in 2025, placing second at the Empro Pro.
